The Injury & Accident Lawyers at the Khan Law Firm know first hand how education can change and enrich the lives of those who pursue it. As a result, Khalil Khan and the other attorneys are offering $1000 scholarship to a student of their choosing to assist with the expenses of higher education. Offering a scholarship provides an opportunity for our firm to give back to the community.

Scholarship Applications are currently being accepted and will be until the 1st of August, 2017.

Applicants must:

  • Be either currently enrolled or accepted to a University in the United States of America
  • Be able to provide a school transcript or acceptance letter proving their enrollment or acceptance. This can be in the form of a screenshot, a picture taken by a smart phone or other methods.
  • Write an essay explaining their plans for their education

There are other companies that offer similar scholarships, is this a legit scholarship offering?
Yes, it is. Companies including law firms will offer scholarships is a way to give back to the community. Doing so makes the firm look reputable and philanthropic.

Is this scholarship available only for students pursuing an education in law?
No, we encourage students of all disciplines to apply for our scholarship.

Do I have to be a Washington resident to apply for the scholarship?
No, we encourage students from all over the United States to apply.

Do I need to submit an official school transcript?
No, please send something that we can use to know if you are in fact enrolled or accepted to a college or university. This can come in many forms, a screenshot of your grades, a picture of your acceptance letter, etc. Before we send the scholarship award we will verify enrollment. If you are dishonest, we will not accept you.

I don’t meet the minimum GPA requirements for the scholarship, can I still apply?
You are welcome to apply however, the selected recipient will most likely have at least a 3.0 GPA.

I will be or currently am attending a trade school or community college, can I still apply for the scholarship?
Yes, please apply.

I have additional questions can I contact you?
You can, but we strongly recommend that you read through the instructions and FAQ’s thoroughly. Asking questions that could have easily been answer by being more thorough will significantly hinder your chances of being awarded the scholarship.
